So this past weekend, I went out of town.  When I got back and asked my roommates how their weekends went, my roommate told me a story about the Vandy apartments “yeah a bunch of girls at the party got drugged.” She explained to me that the individuals who brought their own alcohol were fine but the women who did not bring their own alcohol and drank at the apartments.  This story may have been a rumor and not true but it really made me concerned when my attention was brought to a tweet from @SLUFratMove that was posted Friday November 1, 2013 around 2:00 p.m. that read, “our saying here at vandy is ‘if the cups are around the rufies are down #TFSM.”  I have attached a copy of the tweet to this blog.  I am just so disheartened and upset that anyone would think it’s funny to joke about such an issue.  On top of that, it’s makes me so concerned that this was posted right before the women getting drugged.  Since the post, it’s been taken down.  Regardless, this twitter feed was designed to spew the ideas and thoughts from SLU fraternities and no one said anything to this tweet that was negative.  In fact, some people favorited and retweeted it.
